Poetry
Ages 6+
Brian Moses
Brian Moses is one of Britain’s favourite Children’s poets. Brian’s poems are quirky, sometimes sad and often quite surreal. And great fun! He is a talented performer and accompanies his poems on a range of bizarre percussion instruments. His love of music is also reflected in the rhythms of his poems when performed. He writes about what children know – he remembers what it was like to be a child.

Baboró Poetry Project
Baboró wishes to start a conversation between children and poets as part of a 2-year project. Carefully chosen poems will be given pride of place at all Baboró Festival venues and children will be asked to record their responses in any chosen format or artform. For the next two years a series of poems will be available to schools along with various activities geared to stir creative responses from the children. It is Baboró’s ultimate aim to publish this poetry and the responses to it.
