We at Baboró love a good story. They are all around us, stories told by three year olds, stories told by granny and granddad, stories told with pictures, stories that are true, and stories that are full of imagination....

Join Baboró and local artist Phillida Eves for an afternoon of creative storytelling and exploration in your community. Families are welcome to come and read together and tell each other stories using some unusual visual art and craft materials in a supported, playful way. This will be a beautiful opportunity to take some all-important time out of your busy week and sit down with your child, grandchild, niece or nephew and have some fun.

Phillida is experienced in working with children with additional needs and welcomes all families to this inclusive event.

Baboró Culture Night in Galway City

Le Chéile Session

Town Hall Theatre Galway Courthouse Square, Galway

Come along to join an open bi-lingual traditional music session that encourages children and adults to play together in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. The session will be lead by musicians and teachers Liz Coleman (fiddle), Páidí Breathnach (pipes and whistle), and singer Tommy Carew (guitar). We encourage all instruments, as well as singers and dancers. Special guest Mary Coughlan will join us for a few songs. All you need bring is your instrument and a cúpla focal!
