All you need to know about Baboró's Creative Lab at NUI Galway this weekend

Following on from the success of last year’s Happy Heart Zone, Baboró is delighted to welcome back artists Deirdre Rogers and Órla Kelly to guide young and old on a creative voyage of discovery. Get your crafty creative juices flowing with Deirdre and Orla in Baboró’s Creative Lab at NUI Galway; a place to invent, create and build using a wealth of unusual materials from tubing to foam gleaned from Recreate’s ‘Warehouse of Wonders’.

There are drop-in times for all the family and also scheduled workshops for both children and adults. Full details below.

Children must be a accompanied by an adult and tickets will be required by both adults and children. Advance booking advised.

PARKING AND GETTING TO NUI GALWAY

Parking: 
Free parking is available evenings and weekends near The Quadrangle. There is street parking on Newcastle Road and University Road (€2 per hour) and a large carpark at Galway Cathedral - day rate €4.

Public Bus: routes 404 & 405 stop along Newcastle Road and University Road.

Walking: The Aula Maxima is approximately 15 minutes walk from the Town Hall Theatre.
