Step 2 – Processing Your Request

After you have submitted your School & Group Booking Request Form, Baboró processes your request.

Baboró operates a lottery system to ensure fairness for all schools requesting bookings. All forms received before our first-round offer deadline (mid-late September 2012) will be included in this lottery.

If you do not submit your Booking Request before the first-round deadline, don’t worry! You can continue to request places up until the Festival either via email or by post (see above).

Step 4 – Attending a Baboró Event

Before You Attend
Before you attend a Baboró event you should read the Teacher Pack included with your Booking Request Confirmation. This pack provides important information such as:

  • Activities to do in the classroom with your students, specifically tailored to the performance you will attend.
  • Bus Drop Off Points.
  • Etiquette for school children attending performances.
  • Information on other activities available in Galway during your visit.

Also, be sure to book your bus / arrange transportation to the festival.

When You Attend
When you attend a Baboró event, please bring a copy of your Booking Request Confirmation. This will help our staff identify who you are and seat you efficiently.

Our stewards wear red Baboró t-shirts and have lanyards identifying themselves. If you are travelling by bus, they will meet you at the Bus Drop Off point applicable to your venue and guide you to the theatre venue.

After You Attend
