Our Sponsors help us to bridge the gap between our Realities and our Ambitions – or Income and Expenditure. Baboró costs around €500,000 a year to run – and out of that we spend around €200,000 on the Artistic and Outreach Programmes – that’s funding for performances, exhibitions and literature events in Galway city and county, workshops in schools, Free Teacher Packs, Free Tickets for Teachers, and the all-important Bus Subsidy for Schools. Our funding from Government and Local Authority bodies amounts to around €250,000, and the Box Office generates €50,000 – leaving a shortfall of around €200,000. That’s where our Fundraising Activities, and our Sponsors and Friends come in. Without the support of Business and Corporate Sponsors we would not be able to present as wide and exciting a programme as we do. So, if you’re already a Sponsor, take a bow – you make us possible!
