The Voice of Artist & Child when creating art for young people

How could complex conversations with young people inform the creation of art? How could a strong artistic voice support the voice of the child?

In this practical adult workshop facilitated by theatre maker and director Em Ó Ceallaigh we will explore the tensions and possibilities in youth consultation in the development of art, drawing on ideas from dramaturgy practice and Philosophy for Children (P4C).  We will explore facilitation skills and apply concepts in discussion and collaborative exercises.

This workshop is open to all practices and experience levels, but draws on theatre practice to inform child consultation. Please come in comfortable clothing and ready to play.
