Have you ever wondered how your child sees you?
With our ever-growing appetite to document our lives through photos and selfies, children are often the reluctant subjects of adults' cameras - asked to smile, look natural and come in closer.
In I See You Like This, Australian artist Jessica Wilson flips the camera around giving children control while their significant adults become their subjects.
Facilitated by Jessica in a private session, children design and direct a creative photoshoot of their significant adult, captured by photographer Julia Dunin. The resulting portraits will create the exhibition.
Be Part of the Exhibition

Jessica Wilson is a leading practitioner of participative art with children and their adults. She draws on local people and places to create experiences that change the way we see the ordinary world around us. She regularly develops and realises concepts that are adapted to locations in her native Australia and around the world. She is regularly commissioned by arts centres and festivals to collaborate with local artists to create new work.
Relaxed Events are specifically for parents who may have concerns about bringing their children to the festival. We aim to provide a comfortable and relaxed space for children, and a stress-free environment for parents. Artists adapt their shows by altering the light and sound for example, and our Front of House Managers create a supportive atmosphere where audiences can move around or make noise.
