Making Waves

Jess Rowell

Ireland

Wed 18 Oct - Fri 20 Oct

In this magical voyage the audience and performers set sail in search of hidden treasure, encountering rolling waves, sparkling fish and swooping gulls along the way.

Making Waves is an immersive multi-sensory dance theatre performance, designed specifically for children aged 8 to 13 years with mild to more complex needs. The audience members are seated in pods representing boats on stage, which enables everyone to become part of the adventure. These pods are suitable for wheelchair users.

Funded by The Arts Council with support from Draíocht, Blanchardstown, Axis Ballymun, Riverbank Arts Centre & Mermaid Arts Centre. Originally produced by Draíocht, Blanchardstown in 2021 as part of Jess Rowell’s dance residency supported by the Arts Council of Ireland.

Online booking is not available for this performance. Please call the Town Hall Theatre on 091 569777 to book tickets to the public performance at 4pm on Thursday 19 October.
