There may be an actor on stage, but the main character is light. Imagine a tap dance to the rhythms of light switches. See ordinary lamps, bulbs and cables becoming glowing flowers, a spoon, a candle and a spectacular carousel.
This is a game, a dance and an enchanting spectacle created to help young children to overcome their fear of the dark and to discover the language of light.
On-Off is a tribute to the children’s amazement at the behaviour of light and to their interest in controlling it and its intensity through the use of switches. It is a game that helps them overcome their fear of the dark.
PLEASE NOTE: this event has been added to replace Cornici/Frames at Ballybane Library, which has unfortunately had to be cancelled. Ticket holders will be contacted directly, and additional tickets for On-Off are available to book.
