Plock!

Grensgeval

Belgium

Thu 19 Oct - Sun 22 Oct

Acrobatic painter Jakob tries to copy the painting of his hero Jackson Pollock. But how can he make the right blot on the right spot?

Should he drip, throw, pour or splash the paint? Does he need to work with brushes or sticks or entire containers? He uses all of his body parts, but no matter how he turns, twists, jumps or rolls: his painting does not resemble the original.

Plock!
is a visual circus theatre that appeals to all the senses. With buzzing cans, dancing paint, coloured sounds and an acrobatic painter.

A performance for everyone who likes to colour outside the lines every now and then.

Grensgeval stands for artistic and substantively meaningful performances that remain widely accessible through physical, sensory, visual language. The performances therefore reach a diverse audience, both in age and background, at home and abroad. Grensgeval has performed in the Netherlands, Luxembourg, France, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Ireland, England, Scotland, Austria, Denmark and China.

Grensgeval’s performances are for everyone aged 4 and up. They contain hardly any spoken language. Their work also appeals to the imagination through sound, touch, taste and/or smell.
