Mary Murphy

Mary studied graphic design and illustration at the College of Marketing and Design, Dublin. Following which she became a freelance illustrator. Her first book for children, ‘I Like it When…’, was published in 1997. Since then she has produced more than 40 books for children, generally for preschoolers. Her books have been translated into 17 languages. She currently works mainly with publisher Walker Books UK. She has two new books coming out in Autumn 2019 and Spring 2020.
