We're here to help

In line with Baboró’s commitment to diversity and inclusion, we actively seek voices that represent the Ireland we live in today. It is important to Baboró that this process is easy and accessible for all children and their families. If you are unable to access the form or would like to arrange a printed copy of the application, please contact Children's Panel facilitator Maisie Lee on admin[@]baboro.ie.

If you are able to submit the form but have trouble uploading a file, photos or videos of children's artwork may be emailed separately to admin[@]baboro.ie.

A message from last year's Children's Panel

In this video, the 2022-2023 Children's Panel welcome other young people to Baboró and let them know what to expect from a visit to the festival.

As well as starring in the video, the Children's Panel played an active role in developing the concept, storyboard and script.

Baboró are committed to a child-centred approach to our work with children and young people. We undertake to provide a safe environment and experience, where the welfare of the child/young person is paramount.

Baboró International Arts Festival for Children is Ireland’s flagship arts festival dedicated to children and families.

Baboró is a registered charity which works year- round to bring meaningful arts experiences to children in our community and to support artists making work for young audiences.

Our annual international festival dedicated to children is the beating heart of what we do – it’s what we work towards all year. To complement the festival, we support and nurture artists and creatives in Ireland to make excellent and innovative work for our young audiences. And we continue to reach out into our community in an effort to break down barriers to participation, so that everyone can feel that they belong at Baboró – that they are both seen and heard.

The 2024 Baboró festival will take place from Friday 11 - Sunday 20 October in Galway.
