Through the Community Employment (CE) Programme, we are looking for an Assistant Team Coordinator to support the delivery of our annual festival and year round programmes.

About the Role

The Assistant Team Coordinator will provide administrative support across departments including programming, production, outreach, development and marketing. Knowing basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel, would be beneficial. We hope to find a collaborative individual with strong verbal and written communication skills--you can work on your own initiative, while also receiving support and in house training from us.

Contract and Working Hours
This is a part-time position (19.5 hours per week) available through the CE Programme. Our standard office hours are 9.30am – 5.30pm, Monday – Friday. The role’s work week will be agreed between the candidate and Baboró considering the needs of the individual and organisation.

You should be based in Galway and available to work either from home or from our office located in Galway city centre, depending on the needs of Baboró and current government restrictions.

Eligibility Criteria and Experience

This opportunity is only open to candidates who qualify for CE participation. To be eligible for CE, you must be:

• 21 years of age or older and
• in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more

Please Note: Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department. Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda Vetting application form.

Experience Requirements
This is a developmental opportunity and no experience is necessary. We will provide all accredited training to support your career.
