VOLUNTEERS

We recruit a large number of volunteers to assist with the running of the festival. Festival Volunteers support the stewards and Front of House Managers, while also greeting and assisting incoming audiences.
As a volunteer you’ll be based in different venues throughout the city; Town Hall Theatre, The Black Box, An Taibhdhearc and many more, helping to create a positive Baboró experience for audiences. Not only do volunteers make the festival possible, they also enhance the overall festival experience. All applicants are interviewed, undergo volunteer training, and are briefed on Child Protection Policy before joining the festival team. Volunteering with Baboró is also a wonderful way to meet a great bunch of people with many returning to volunteer year after year.
STEWARDS

We recruit a limited number of stewards for the Baboró festival. Baboró stewards support the Front of House Managers in relation to the safety and welfare of our all important audience members.
Preference will be given to those with prior experience and more availability (as they will be required to do a minimum number of shifts). Please note that this is a paid role.
