Over 10 days thousands of children and grown ups of all ages flocked to theatres, libraries, schools, galleries and community spaces throughout Galway.
Together we peered into little worlds, explored the cosmos, saw each other from hilarious new perspectives, danced in a rain of paint and dived into magical worlds.
Thank you to every child, parent, guardian and teacher who brought Baboró to life - this is your festival and it is a privilege to share it with you every year.
To the artists, casts and crews from Ireland and around the world who converged on Galway for our 2023 Festival: thank you for sharing your gifts with Baboró audiences!
Thank you to our festival team who have worked so hard and volunteered their valuable time to help us deliver a festival that connected children, artists, families, schools and communities.
Thank you to all of our generous funders and supporters who provide essential funding to sustain the festival and help us to provide free and accessible events for children in the region.
Baboró is principally funded by The Arts Council of Ireland and Galway City and County Councils. This year’s festival has been supported by our Irish Language Partner, Cúla4; Literature Partner, Charlie Byrnes; A/V Partner, CUE One and Sustainable Print Partner, iSupply.
