The Delegate Pass gives industry professionals and creatives access to delegate-only events, including works-in-progress, networking opportunities and social evenings. Come meet and mingle with artists, Irish and international programmers, and professionals passionate about arts for young audiences!
How to Book Tickets
Tickets to festival performances as well as talks and workshops for adults are sold separately from the Delegate Pass. A pass is not required to attend these events.
If you are a student or unwaged, you are eligible for a 15% discount code to be applied when booking festival events. You will receive the code via email upon booking the Delegate Pass.

Led by Fidget Feet’s Chantal McCormick and Ceol Connected’s Thomas Johnston, Croí and Gaoth is suitable for any artist interested in making work for young audiences.
An Immersive Deep Dive
Friday 21 October, 10am - 4pm
Nun's Island Theatre
Work with Punchdrunk Enrichment’s team, led by Artistic Director Peter Higgin, to develop the skills required to create immersive work for children. Collaborate with fellow participants to develop rich immersive narratives and projects drawing on Punchdrunk Enrichment’s signature practice and playful imaginative techniques and processes.

BEAG: Creative Process & Play
Monday 17 October, 10am - 5pm
O'Donoghue Centre, NUI Galway
Graffiti: BEAG share their practice in making participatory work for young children. Having observed two Graffiti: BEAG Encounters, Paper Play and What Colour is the Rain?, participants will have the opportunity to discuss and reflect on the works with the artists who created them; they will engage in a practical workshop with BEAG artists to learn about their multidisciplinary approach and elements of the Creative Process and Play series developed during lockdown.
Teacher FOLD

Engage Art Studios, Salthill
In this creative workshop for teachers, participants are invited to discover the value of a bespoke, inclusive approach. We will ground our learning in an understanding of how materials matter in learning contexts, particularly in relation to Aistear. Share your ideas and discoveries amongst supportive peers in the playful environment of the FOLD exhibition by Lucy Hill at Engage Art Studios.

Making work with & for autistic young audiences (SOLD OUT)

Barrowland Ballet’s Artistic Director, Natasha Gilmore, will present insights into the development and creative process of her body of dance theatre and film work created with and for autistic young audiences. Gilmore will question how we might give young people agency from process to performance; what creative challenges and opportunities does this create; and what is the impact of this approach on the relevance and resonance of the work created?

A roundtable of makers and thinkers, that explores models of practice to aid artists in the creation of work for very young audiences, in early years education and Creche settings. Through this discussion, panellists will begin to map and articulate models of best practice arising from national and International projects such as the 'Mapping', 'Small Size' and 'Graffiti BEAG'. Using the work created during these projects as case studies, panellists will share their experiences and explore the challenges in bringing work to these settings.
