Experience the Baboró festival as a delegate by purchasing a Delegate Pass. This pass will give you access to delegate-only events, including networking opportunities and social evenings. Come meet and mingle with festival artists, Irish and international programmers, and professionals passionate about arts for young audiences.

Our delegate programme is open to arts industry professionals, creatives, artists, educators and anyone interested in creative work for children, here in Ireland or internationally.

Booking Your Delegate Pass

Price

Delegate Pass Standard: €20.00

Delegate Pass Student/Unwaged: €10.00

What's included?

This pass will give you access to delegate-only events, including networking opportunities and social evenings. These delegate-only events require booking and can be booked via your confirmation email.

Performances, talks and workshops must then be booked separately (see below).

  • If you are a student or unwaged, you will receive a 15% discount code to be applied when booking festival events. You will receive this code via your confirmation email upon booking the Delegate Pass, so make sure to book your Pass first!

Booking delegate-only events

After booking your pass, you will receive a confirmation email. You can sign up for delegate-only events through a form linked in this confirmation email. Please be aware that some of these events will have limited capacity.

Booking performances

Performances, talks and workshops in our programme must be booked separately. Once you have booked your Delegate Pass, please proceed to our online programme to purchase tickets for the performances, talks and workshops you wish to attend.

Delegate Pack

Before the festival begins, you will receive a Delegate Pack with the details of the programmed companies and other helpful information to prepare you for your festival experience. You will also receive a Delegate List for networking purposes.

Deadline

Delegate Passes will be available to purchase until 5pm (Irish Summer Ttime) on Friday 4th October

  • "Get to Know Galway" Walking Tour with Laura Browne**

    A 90 minute cultural and historic tour of Baboró's vibrant home, highlighting festival venues and hot spots along the way.
  • Craft & Chat**
    Mon 14 Oct | 14:00-15:30
    Join your fellow artists and delegates in this creative 'craft-ernoon' session where you'll work together (and at times alone) to collage a weird and wonderful image, drawing from your inner creative world! This relaxed, guided craft session encourages participants to engage at whatever level feels comfortable (both conversation and silence is welcome)! This collaging-extravaganza will be led by artist and Baboró team member Aoife Delany Reade.
  • Artist & Delegate Night

    Festival artists and delegates are invited to join us for this social evening. Get to know your fellow industry professionals and creatives over drinks and nibbles.
  • BABEL Sharing**
    Wed 16 Oct | 12:15-13:00
    A chance to see what 12 international artists have been exploring over their 5-day workshop with facilitators Alex Byrne and Gregory Hall. This informal sharing will offer delegates a window into the exercises and discoveries made throughout the week in this multilingual workshop. The workshop is part of the Creative Europe 4-year Project, BABEL, exploring the limits and possibilities of language difference in PYA.
  • Arts In Action: Creating Fields of Tender**

    Dalija Acin Thelander will introduce you to her academic research and creative practice as an artist making immersive performances for children with additional needs. Attendees will be introduced to the development phases of Dalija's creation of
    Fields of Tender, followed by a walk-through of the set and its unique sensory elements.
  • Artist & Delegate Night

    Festival artists and delegates are invited to join us for this social evening. Get to know your fellow industry professionals and creatives over drinks and nibbles.
  • Stone Soup with Tony Reekie**

    A relaxed gathering with an opportunity for delegates to reflect on their festival experience and to share thoughts, dreams and passions for the industry at large.
