We often take for granted the opportunities we have in Galway to enjoy a rich menu of arts and entertainment events all year round. For the children we work with, Baboró is a rare opportunity to enjoy arts experiences created especially for children with a diverse range of needs.
We need your support to invite 48 Galway children with additional needs to experience 'Making Waves' at the festival this October. Jess Rowell has carefully crafted a sensory show especially for the needs of these children and best suited to small audiences. These shows, by their very nature, are expensive to make and present but have a deep impact.
Baboró already subsidises the cost of general festival tickets by up to 78%, but these specialist tickets require 100% subsidy.
