Covid-19 Safety

We look forward to welcoming you to Baboró this year. The safety of our audience, artists and festival team is our main priority. In collaboration with our venue partners, we have put comprehensive measures in place to ensure that everyone can safely enjoy this year’s festival. These measures follow Government guidelines and will be adapted according to any changes in guidelines over the coming weeks.

These measures include the following:

  • Reduced capacity in each of our venues.
  • Social distanced queueing.
  • Socially distanced seating arrangements (currently 2m between groups).
  • All adults and children aged 13+ will be required to wear face masks, in line with HSE guidelines about face coverings in indoor settings.
See HSE guidelines on wearing masks.
  • Hand sanitiser dispensers at entrances and throughout the venues.
  • One-way systems. You will be asked to follow staff direction and the signage on the floor and the walls. When the event is over, a member of staff will indicate when your section is to leave.
  • Contactless ticketing.
  • Contact tracing capacity.
  • An increased and enhanced cleaning regime.
  • Extensive and clear Covid-19 signage throughout the venues reminding all to observe social distancing, cough etiquette and hand hygiene.
  • Managed bathroom queuing.
  • Capacity limit on stage numbers and in all backstage rooms.
