Rooted in the spirit of John O’Donohue’s Anam Ċara, this workshop offers professional artists a window into a rich, collaborative and interdisciplinary process of creating work for young audiences.

Led by Chantal McCormick (Fidget Feet Aerial Dance) and Thomas Johnston (Ceol Connected) - two dynamic artist-facilitators from the worlds of aerial dance, music and gig theatre, this workshop explores how Celtic mythology, nature, music, song and movement come together to awaken imagination and connection. Artists will experience how we dream and devise with the land - translating rich poetic themes into embodied, sensory experiences. A unique opportunity to witness and reflect on how deep ideas become playful, accessible and alive through art.

Suitable for professional performance artists, choreographers and directors. Part of this workshop will take place outdoors so please come prepared for all weathers!

Please dress comfortably and bring a water bottle.

Presented in partnership with TYAI.
