A community music workshop by Hala Jaber specifically for children who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. Hala aims to provide a space for children to explore and feel various rhythms. The children will also have the opportunity to compose a rhythmic piece together, if they wish.
Hala's approach relies on visual observation and experiencing rhythm through body movement and natural rhythms we hold within our bodies. The workshop will progress gently, focusing on children's experiences in feeling the rhythms and having a good time.
Facilitated through ISL and spoken English.
