Palestinian Community musician, Hala Jaber hosts a family friendly gathering of music-making and song sharing. Join Hala on a journey around the world to explore various countries, cultures and traditions in a friendly gathering of music-making and song-sharing designed especially for families. Songs and music games from all over the world will be experienced.
This event is relaxed in nature, focusing on social bonding and celebrating a variety of cultures. Families can walk in and out as they see fit; there is no obligation to stay for the whole duration or be exactly on time. Families may be asked to wait until the musical game or exercise is completed before joining in on the journey.

Dr Hala Jaber is a Palestinian Community Musician and a classical flute player. She obtained her Doctorate in Community Music from the University of Limerick, investigating musical workshops and spaces as tools to promote integration and cultural exchange. Hala has extensive experience leading musical workshops for children and adults.
