Music Explorers workshops are a fun way for you and your child to explore basic percussion, movement, singing and musical games together in a relaxed environment. These energetic sessions, facilitated by Music Generation Educators, are guaranteed to give parents and children a musical pep in their step! No experience necessary.

Leanaigí, delivered by Music Generation Galway City, is a performance music education programme for pre-school and primary school children that engages them in active music-making through singing activities and games, rhythm, solfège and improvisation.

Music Generation Galway City is a performance music education programme for children and young people in Galway City that provides opportunities for over 3,500 children and young people to access a range of high-quality, subsidised vocal and instrumental experiences in over 50 schools, youth-clubs and afterschool locations across Galway City. It is managed and funded locally by the Galway Roscommon Education and Training Board, Galway City Council, Galway City Partnership, CYPSC TUSLA, Foróige, Youth Work Ireland and Involve.

Music Generation is Ireland’s national music education programme, which transforms the lives of children and young people by giving them access to high-quality performance music education in their local area. Initiated by Music Network, Music Generation is Co-funded by U2, The Ireland Funds, the Department of Education, and Local Music Education Partnerships in which Education and Training Boards and Local Authorities play a lead role.
