The Thinking Studio

Dr Michela Dianetti & Dr Lucy Elvis

Ireland

Sa 10 Oct - Su 18 Oct

Find the philosophy in and beyond Baboró!

Have you ever thought something wasn't fair? Ever wondered what makes someone trustworthy? Whether everyone finds the same things beautiful? Or if a carrot is alive?

Investigate the ideas we meet every day: the questions that matter to how we live. Join philosophers Dr Michela Dianetti and Dr Lucy Elvis in a welcoming, interactive space with thought experiments, big questions and imaginative activities.

The Thinking Studio also includes a quiet space for thinkers' story time, a wall to capture the big questions emerging from the festival programme and a concept mapping space.

A team of facilitators will support you in exploring and sharing your ideas. Come and join us after a Baboró show if you're left with big thoughts buzzing or drop in any time for some playful thinking together!

This is a drop in space, pop in anytime.

Delivered as part of the project AND (Art Needs Dialogue) funded by Research Ireland, with the support of the Public Philosophy Team and AIRE Research Collective at the University of Galway. Kindly hosted by the Urban Lab, Nun’s Island.
