Join wildlife documentary presenter Eoin Warner as he brings us on a journey of discovery and wonder through Ireland’s natural world. This special evening threads together storytelling with film and live music as Eoin uncovers the beauty of some of the wildlife that calls the west of Ireland home.

Eoin, whom you will recognise from spectacular wildlife and natural history documentaries such as Ireland’s Wild Islands and Wild Conamara, will share his fascination with the natural world. Eoin’s love of nature began as a young child in West Cork and has shaped him as a naturalist, advocating for the protection of our natural flora and fauna, of which we are all a part. He will be joined on stage by local musician Michael Chang.

The evening includes a screening of Wildkind, a short animation created by Ciara Tinney and directed by John McDaid, Dog Ears Animation Studio. This is a poem painted to awaken the senses, a fluid journey of hope and healing across our shared watercolour motherland. A universal bedtime story, and a call to nurture a life wild and kind.

Eoin’s book Through the Long Grass is published in September.

Naturalist Eoin Warner is a wildlife documentary presenter in both the Irish and English languages.
