We at Baboró enjoy working with like-minded people on collaborative projects. We love to collaborate with artists, educators, funders, sponsors, venues - in fact anyone who shares our passion for the importance of creativity in the lives of children!

At this year's festival, 1,117 school children attended free events, 287 tickets were gifted to families from marginalised communities and 96 children with additional needs experienced a specialist performance.

Baboró is Galway's annual festival dedicated to children and their families. It takes place each year in October. Subscribe to our newsletter below for the latest programme announcements.
Support Baboró
Many families and schools do not have the means to access the arts.
Baboró works to address this barrier by subsidising tickets to our annual festival from a production cost of €35 per person to €10 and less (2024 festival subsidised by 81%). We also run free events, free workshops and provide free tickets to underrepresented communities.
Your support maintains this subsidised ticket price for all children and provides free tickets to teachers, carers and disadvantaged communities.
