Welcome to the 30th edition of Baboró - fáilte isteach!

In 30 years Baboró has welcomed over half a million children and their adults to the festival, shaping generations of artists and creative thinkers. Thanks to our Children’s Panel, funders, supporters, artists and most importantly, audiences for helping to make the magic happen, year after year.

This year we welcome artists from Belgium, England, France, Germany and Spain to delight and excite family and school audiences. We’ll shine a light on local talent with a Made in Galway showcase for programmers as part of Ireland's EU Presidency.

You’ll find engaging events for babies, children and teens in theatres, galleries, schools and on the streets of Galway. Expect free pop up events dotted throughout the city - keep an eye on our socials for updates. Whether you’re into music, dance, theatre, circus, books, music, film or art, I hope you have a great festival!
