The Children’s Panel invited some friends of Baboró to The Mick Lally Theatre for cake and confetti to celebrate our milestone 30th year.
We were joined by Baboro’s founders Jean Parkinson (Baboró's first Artistic Director) and Patricia Forde (Author and Baboró's first Board Chair). The panel were also joined by Marc MacLochlainn (Artistic Director of Branar), Natasha Muldoon (ARD Resource Centre’s Global Citizenship Education Programme Co-ordinator) and Phillida Eves (Artistic Director of Rosán Sensory Adventures).
Guests shared heartwarming memories from the last three decades including time spent at previous festivals, their favourite shows in years gone by, beloved collaborations and their hopes for the future of Baboró.
Special thanks to our 2024 - 2026 Children's panel for hosting our guests. The Baboró Children’s Panel plays an important role in shaping Baboró's work, and in making all children feel welcome, heard and represented at our festival and in our year-round projects.
