That's a Wrap on Baboró 2022!

And with that, another Baboró festival has come and gone! It did our hearts good to see in-person audiences of all ages return in full force to theatres, libraries, schools, galleries, and community spaces throughout Galway.

Thank you to every child, family, and class who attended a show or participated in an event. Baboró is your festival and it’s a privilege to share it with you.

Special thanks to the tireless teachers who organised school trips from near and far, and to our Children's Panel who lent valuable feedback on their festival experience.

To the artists, casts, and crews from all over Ireland and Europe who converged in Galway for the past 10 days: thank you for sharing your gifts with Baboró audiences!

Thank you to our festival team who have worked passionately to deliver a festival that connected children, artists, families, schools, and communities.

Thank you, thank you, thank you to our front of house managers, stewards, and volunteers who brought early-morning smiles, braved the elements, and travelled across the county to make each and every Baboró event a special one.

As always, we are grateful to our funders, sponsors, donors and partners. This year’s festival was supported by Medtronic, TG4, Ombudsman for Children's Office, and the businesses and venues of Galway City. Baboró is funded by Arts Council Ireland, Galway City Council and Galway County Council. View all of our generous funders and supporters here.
