The O'Donoghue Centre for Drama, Theatre and Performance is located beside Áras na Mac Léinn and the Bailey Allen Hall in the heart of the campus of the University of Galway. This 120-seat state-of the-art theatre is the venue for all performance-related research and productions by Drama and Theatre Studies at NUI Galway.

Accessibility 

Both entrances are wheelchair accessible. There is an activation switch for the front doors to the theatre, providing wheelchair access.

Getting Here

Parking

The Galway Cathedral car park is a 5 minute walk from O’Donoghue and is open 08:30-18:30 Monday to Saturday and 13:00-18:00 Sunday, with a €5 day rate. There are Pay and Display (street parking) spaces on campus at €1.50 per hour. Please be aware that there are permit-only locations and caution is advised as clamping is in operation throughout the university campus.

Public Bus 

Galway city bus route 405 stops at the entrance to University of Galway, which is a 1 minute walk to O'Donoghue Centre.

Walking 

O'Donoghue Centre is located on the grounds of University of Galway and is a 7 minute walk from the Town Hall Theatre and a 17 minute walk from the Spanish Arch.
